Harvard Law School
August 27, 2007 “On behalf of
Harvard Law School, I would like to sincerely thank you for all your hard work and exemplary performance during the Historic
House Moves in Cambridge this summer.
We truly appreciate the attention, experience,
and dedication you brought to this team and to this very complicated project moving three buildings down the busiest street
in Cambridge. You handled the pressures and the media attention very professionally, and amazed the community with your abilities
along the way.
Once again, thank you for being part of this historic moment
for Harvard Law School. We look forward to working with you in Phase 2 of this project.”

August 27, 2007 "We
wanted to send your company a letter formally thanking you for a truly excellent job moving the Baker, Ukrainian, and Carriage
Houses at Harvard Law School.
This project was a tremendous logistical
challenge and your company executed it flawlessly, exceeding the expectations of Shawmut Design and Construction, the University,
and the City of Cambridge. Not to mention the 1,000 or so on-lookers and media coverage. Three historic woo-framed buildings
moved early on a Saturday morning along Cambridge's main artery, all before most people even got out of bed.
Speaking for Shawmut, I know who we will call next time we have a project that involves
moving a building."

behalf of CSL Consulting, I would like to thank you for all your work and support during the House Move project for Harvard
Law School. As the Owner's Representative, we were held responsible for coordinating
the team that would perform this project for Harvard Law School. You were the right person for this project and were instrumental
to its success. Your ability to move the tree historic houses down Massachusetts Avenue flawlessly was the defining moment
for the project.
We appreciate the dedication you brought to this very
complicated effort."

Town of East Hampton
Office of the Supervisor
July 16, 2008 “The
plan to move the homes required extensive coordination between the major utilities, the Town and Guy Davis and his staff.
The move necessitated dropping all of the utility lines as the parade of homes made its way down Montauk Highway a distance
of three miles to Town Hall. Guy Davis also moved the historic Amagansett Life Saving Station to its original location, as
well as a number of other historic homes that were donated to local historical societies.
Davis Construction Building Movers cooperated with all other parties in a timely and professional manner. Guy Davis
and his staff were an asset to the overall project.
The move started at dawn
on a clear, crisp spring day. Hundreds of onlookers lined the route to watch the houses inch down the road, marveling at the
ability of Guy Davis, his daughters and staff to move the structures by remote control.”
-William E. McGintee, Supervisor of the Town of East Hampton
April 25, 2007
“I was very impressed with your work moving the six eighteenth-century and early–nineteenth
century buildings from the de Menil property to the East Hampton Town Hall property.
From lifting the buildings off their foundations and placing them on steel through the move across fields and roads
every step was wall-planned and carefully executed. The operation went so smoothly and was under such complete control that,
like anything very well done, it appeared to be almost effortless.
There was
no damage to the buildings and no stress to their timber frames.”

July 21, 2008 “Please consider this letter as our complete
endorsement of the outstanding job Guy Davis; President of Davis Construction House Movers did moving Cold Spring Harbor’s
original Fire House (circa 1866) to its new location.
This fourth generation
building mover’s expertise was clearly evident as he braced, raised our fire house and moved it between two structures
with only inches to spare. On an early Sunday morning, Guy, in a seemingly effortless manner, moved this historic structure
up our Main Street and positioned it so perfectly on its new foundation that no further adjustment had to be made –
clear evidence that knowledge, competence and experience pay off.”

January 12, 2007 “Davis
Construction Building Movers were contracted to move a 20,000 sq. ft. house located in Water Mill. The job was extremely challenging
as I’m sure you could imagine what it would be like to move an approximately 20,000 sq. ft. house in one piece approximately
175 feet. Guy Davis assisted me in every phase of the project, from the excavation to the placing and pouring of the foundation
to ensure a smooth and precise situation when we lowered the house onto the new foundation. The job was published in an article
in the Southampton Press which you can probably get a copy of if you would like.
As
a contract on the East End for almost 30 years, I have moved many houses from Maidstone Hall on Ocean Road in East Hampton
which is a 16,000 plus sq. ft. house built in 1867 for the Gardner family to cutting a house into five pieces and moving it
a mile and half away and putting it back together which was published in Forbes Magazine some years ago. The most recent project
which was published in the East Hampton Star was an art studio designed by Stamford White on Georgica Pond in East Hampton
which was picked up and rotated approximately 90 degrees and moved about 100 feet or son on an extremely difficult site with
severe topography. As you can see, I have a broad base of experience as a general contractor moving large homes. Having said
that, on these projects I had worked with another house mover who I originally started this project with and after he started,
he realized that it was too much for him and he abandoned the project. You can imagine the situation that this put me in.
I then called Guy Davis who came in and did the project with the utmost professionalism I could have imagined. For these and
other reasons, I highly recommend Guy Davis of Davis Construction Building Movers.
Please
contact me if you would like at any time. It would be my pleasure to speak to anyone in reference to Guy Davis.”

“It is with pleasure that we recommend Guy Davis and his team of movers. Guy and
his crew successfully moved our home during the fall of 2004 from an adjacent property about 1/3 of a mile away from its current
location. Our house was one of the largest (if not the largest) ever to be moved in one piece on Long Island. Guy ensured
that all details of the move were attended to, including the reinforcement of two large chimneys and a 12 foot wrap-around
porch.
Guy and his team were extremely professional – completing the
project on time and on budget. We highly recommend them. “

January 12, 2007 “We have worked with Guy on many jobs. Over the
years, he has lifted and moved a number of houses for us. Some were small. Some were regular sized. One was absolutely mammoth.
It was also very old. Despite its age and the distance it traveled on Guy’s equipment, when it landed on its new foundation
it was intact, as though it hadn’t been moved at all.
We believe that
Guy is someone you can trust with your house. We recommend him. We are confident that you will find him prompt, competent
and competitively priced."

of the historic Swan Lawn estate in Southampton. I needed a three story 140 year old, 6,000 sq. foot mansion lifted off the
ground, straightened out, and then lowered on a new foundation while keeping all of the fireplaces intact. Davis Construction
executed an extremely difficult project tin a professional and timely manor.
It

“Guy Davis and I are in similar businesses. He moves buildings and structures and
I move mostly over dimensional/ over weight machinery and equipment. He calls when he has a large project and needs reliable

hard pressed to find a better source for what they provide.”
